Job summary

Jacobs Poland seeks a Senior Civil Engineer specializing in road/highway design to lead multi-disciplinary projects and deliver design work that meets client requirements, budgets, and schedules.

With 12+ years in road infrastructure and international project experience, you will work with OpenRoads Designer or Civil 3D, and you will apply UK/DMRB or US standards. A strong English capability (B2) is essential, and hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree focused on roads/highways.
• Professional Engineer license for road design is required.
• 12+ years in road infrastructure design; 3+ years on international projects.
• Experience preparing and reviewing design docs, drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of Bentley OpenRoads Designer or Autodesk Civil 3D for highway design.
• Understanding of UK DMRB or US standards; familiarity with international standards.
• Knowledge of UK Health & Safety/CDM regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
• Experience leading project teams and mentoring.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• English proficiency at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Lead highway design elements on multi-disciplinary projects from concept to operation.
• Coordinate across engineering disciplines and review deliverables.
• Provide leadership and technical support to junior team members.
• Prepare and review design deliverables, reports, drawings, and specifications to client requirements, schedules and budgets.
• Contribute to project scope planning, resources, delivery schedules and fee estimates.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and teams in Poland and internationally.
• Support digital delivery processes and BIM-enabled project delivery.
