Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Bridge Designer in Poland to join the Bridges Team within the Global Design Center, based in Warsaw or Kraków. You will lead, mentor, and deliver high-quality bridge designs for prestigious international projects, coordinating with global teams and ensuring safe, compliant outcomes.

The role requires a Master’s in engineering, Chartered status, 10+ years in bridge design, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Chartered Bridge Engineer with relevant professional body.
• Min. 10 years of experience in design office, especially bridges.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor bridge staff on structural analysis, feasibility, tender and detailed designs, and reports.
• Use Bridge design software such as AutoCAD, MIDAS, SAM.
• Develop networks with global technology leaders for Bridges.
• Ensure quality control plans and health & safety are integrated in design.
• Develop project delivery plans and deliver projects in English.
