Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking a Guidewire Portal Senior Developer to join its global delivery network in Warsaw or Katowice. You will work across Insurance platform implementations, collaborating with agile teams to drive project success and client outcomes.

In this role you will use modern tech stacks and contribute to new solutions while engaging with leaders in the industry. The position offers a mix of office and remote work and opportunities to travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Science, or other Technical qualification.
• 3+ years in a corporate IT environment in a similar position.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent business communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work as a Senior Developer across multiple technical streams of Guidewire implementation projects.
• Interface and communicate with onsite coordinators.
• Plan and monitor project deliverables from the team.
• Mentor the project team in executing identified projects.
• Willing to travel to customer locations as needed.
• Participate in organization-wide people initiatives.
• Design new functionalities and solutions.
• Optimize existing processes and system components.
• Create prototypes and proof-of-concept for new/improved modules.
• Research technological possibilities and analyze trends.

As a Guidewire Portal Developer you will participate in various streams of Insurance platform implementation projects, collaborate with agile team members in order to achieve project and client goals and be a part of Business Insurance Transformations. We are looking for a passionate developer willing to move our projects on the new track! You will use the most advanced technology stack and have an opportunity to implement new solutions while working with top leaders in their industries. As a part of our global team, you will participate in international projects based on latest data technologies and cloud platforms.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Need to work as a Senior Developer to contribute in various technical streams of Guidewire implementation projects.
• Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Experience in Jutro Digital Platform (JDP) or Guidewire Portals (any of CustomerEngage, ProducerEngage etc.) development
• Good understanding of SCSS, JavaScript ES6, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3
• Understanding of any Guidewire InsuranceSuite product
• Awareness of good coding practices (Clean Code, Design Patterns)

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Science, other Technical qualification.
• 3+ years in a corporate IT environment in a similar position.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent business communication skills.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Hands-on experience with Typescript and React
• French would be a strong asset
