Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant professional experience in software delivery, consulting, implementation, or business transformation projects.
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: Java development, EIS, or Guidewire.

Responsibilities

• Lead selected workstreams within Insurance transformation programs across Java, Guidewire, or EIS.
• Collaborate with agile team members, stakeholders, and clients to achieve objectives and deliver solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, implementation plans and scalable solutions.
• Contribute to system development, integration, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Mentor and share knowledge within project teams and across the Insurance Competency.

As a Technology Manager, Senior Consultant or Consultant within our Insurance Competency, you will contribute to a broad portfolio of Insurance transformation initiatives across multiple technology platforms, including Java-based solutions, Guidewire, and Eagle Investment Systems (EIS). Depending on your expertise and interests, you will join agile delivery teams supporting global insurance and financial services clients in implementing, enhancing, and modernizing their core platforms.

Your key responsibilities

• Participate in and lead selected workstreams within Insurance transformation programs across Java, Guidewire, or EIS platforms.
• Collaborate with agile team members, business stakeholders, and clients to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs, implementation plans, and scalable solutions.
• Contribute to system development, configuration, integration, testing, debugging, and documentation activities.
• Support mentoring and knowledge-sharing initiatives within project teams and across the Insurance Competency.
• Engage with stakeholders to communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in implementation, enhancement, migration, and modernization initiatives for insurance and investment management platforms.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and R&D teams to identify innovative technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Support proof-of-concepts, pilots, and innovation initiatives aimed at improving business processes and technology capabilities.
• Contribute to post-implementation reviews, continuous improvement activities, and operational excellence initiatives.

Skills and attributes for success

Depending on your area of expertise, experience in one or more of the following is highly valued:

• Strong technical knowledge of Java and related frameworks, Guidewire products, or EIS.
• Experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with integration technologies, APIs, messaging solutions (e.g., Kafka), and distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive and independent mindset.
• Ability to effectively collaborate in multicultural and geographically distributed teams.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant professional experience in software delivery, consulting, implementation, or business transformation projects.

Hands‑on experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Java and enterprise application development
• EISExperience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud‑native solutions.
• Experience within the Insurance, Reinsurance, Wealth Management, or Investment Management sectors.
• Knowledge of insurance core systems and business processes.
• Knowledge of investment accounting, portfolio management, fund accounting, or capital markets operations.
• Relevant certifications related to Java, Cloud, Guidewire, Agile, or investment technology platforms.
• Experience working in global delivery models and international project environments.
