Job summary

EY is seeking a Guidewire Developer for IT Consulting Services in Poland. You will participate in Guidewire/FADATA implementation projects, collaborating with specialists to achieve project and client goals within Business Insurance Transformations.

The role offers a hybrid work model with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote, and involves travel to client locations as needed while leveraging Java/Guidewire expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience in Java/Guidewire/FADATA development.
• Understanding of JVM technologies (Java 8, J2EE, XML, SOAP, REST, SQL, Spring, Hibernate).
• Awareness of Clean Code and Design Patterns.
• Finance Transformation experience (SAP FI/CO, Tagetik, SAP FS-CD).

As a Guidewire Developer in the IT Consulting Services, you will participate in various streams of Guidewire/FADATA implementation projects, collaborate with the best specialists to achieve project and client goals, and be part of Business Insurance Transformations.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Collaboration with team members, developing and implementing project activities to achieve project and client goals
• Completion of assigned tasks on time and regular status reporting to the Lead
• Participating in organization-wide people initiatives

• Willingness to make business travels to customers' locations on a need basis

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Experience in Java/Guidewire/FADATA development
• Understanding of any JVM technologies or surrounding ecosystem (e.g., Java 8, J2EE, XML, SOAP, REST, SQL, PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, any application server, any enterprise messaging system)
• Awareness of good coding practices (Clean Code, Design Patterns)
• Finance Transformation experience (e.g., SAP General Ledger (FI/CO), Tagetik, SAP FS-CD)

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Hands-on experience with Angular 5
• Working experience with Kotlin
