Job summary

Guidewire is seeking a Senior Architect to lead the most complex customer implementations, shaping solution strategy and governance across projects. You will guide overall architecture, ensure delivery success, and align client goals with scalable Guidewire solutions.

You will act as a cross-functional thought partner with Engagement Managers, executives, developers, and product teams. This role requires strong leadership and a track record of delivering enterprise-grade architectures.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise software architecture with delivery leadership.
• Strong command of Java, Gosu, REST APIs, and cloud-native architecture.
• Ability to design and scale solutions across multiple workstreams or regions.
• Experience leading architectural governance and code/design review processes.
• Translate business needs into long-term technology strategies.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical architecture across one or more large programs or portfolios.
• Lead discovery and design workshops with customers to understand business and technical needs.
• Architect complex solutions across Guidewire components and cloud platform.
• Define reusable design patterns conforming to best practices for long-term maintainability.
• Align solutions with cloud strategy, data needs, performance, and security standards.
• Mentor Architects and lead governance across functional tracks.
