Job summary

SoftServe is seeking a senior engineer to drive the development and operation of cloud-native platform services built on Kubernetes. You will own the full service lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to production operations, shaping distributed systems used at scale.

You will lead design and delivery of Go-based backend services, Kubernetes Operators, and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating across platform, DevOps, and product teams to ensure reliability and performance in cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Golang backend development in production
• Strong Kubernetes administration experience in production clusters
• Experience building Kubernetes Operators/CRDs with Go
• Product-focused mindset with engineering ownership
• Contribute to product evolution and delivery
• Solid understanding of microservices and cloud-native architectures
• Linux administration, shell scripting, and automation

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-native platform services and CRDs in Go
• Own end-to-end delivery with reliability and scalability in production
• Collaborate with platform, DevOps, architects, and product teams
• Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters from installation to lifecycle management
• Implement GitOps processes using ArgoCD or Flux
• Automate provisioning with Terraform and Ansible
• Establish monitoring/observability with Prometheus and Grafana
• Define meaningful SLIs/SLOs and drive operational excellence
• Mentor peers and contribute to engineering best practices
