Job summary

Eviden is seeking an experienced backend developer to join our team building hybrid cloud platform services for a telecommunications client. You will craft scalable, secure, and well-tested RESTful services, leveraging Kubernetes and cloud-native patterns.

Join a cross-functional team practicing Agile/DevOps, with emphasis on documentation, performance optimization, and reliable releases across distributed systems. Hybrid work with ongoing learning opportunities is provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience, ideally in Golang.
• Significant experience in building RESTful services in distributed environments.
• Strong system programming skills, memory management and performance optimization.
• Kubernetes native operators (kubebuilder) and CRDs/CRs experience.
• Asynchronous programming experience.
• Hands-on with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, Kafka, Neo4j).
• Experience with hyperscalers (GCP and others).
• CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, Tekton, Argo Workflows, Argo CD and gitOps/IaC.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services for hybrid cloud platform.
• Design for scalability and performance with proper load balancing and caching.
• Document and share knowledge clearly within cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate in Agile and DevOps environments to deliver secure, tested software.
• Implement and extend unit and integration tests as part of CI pipelines.
