Job summary

Thrive IT Systems in Warsaw is seeking a Senior GoLang AI Engineer with 6–7 years of backend development and cloud-based AI solutions. You will design scalable Go services, build cloud-native microservices, and drive GenAI initiatives across LLMs, RAG frameworks, and modern AI platforms.

You will collaborate with data scientists, deploy on AWS/Azure/GCP, containerize with Docker and Kubernetes, and implement CI/CD, IaC with Terraform, and DevSecOps practices to deliver enterprise AI applications.

Qualifications

• 6–7 years of software engineering experience.
• 3 years of GoLang development experience.
• 2 years of AI GenAI solution development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using GoLang.
• Build cloud-native microservices and distributed systems.
• Develop event-driven applications using Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
• Optimize application performance, reliability and scalability.
• Implement RESTful APIs and gRPC services; secure integrations.
• AI Generative AI development and deployment of AI-powered business applications.
• Build GenAI, RAG and Agentic AI solutions with modern AI frameworks.
• Integrate enterprise apps with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or Hugging Face models.
• Develop vector search and semantic retrieval with vector databases.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to operationalize AI models.
• Deploy applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP; containerize with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement IaC using Terraform; build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply DevSecOps and automated quality controls throughout the lifecycle.
• Participate in architecture reviews and design discussions.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product owners and stakeholders.
• Contribute to AI and cloud-native innovation initiatives.
