Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a senior software engineer to join a cloud/on-prem GIS data interpretation platform for the energy sector, collaborating with geophysicists, data scientists and software engineers. The role emphasizes ESRI ArcGIS Runtime integration, robust architecture, and agile delivery within a TEAM that engages with a Houston customer.

The project uses SCRUM, microservices, and GPU/cloud computing to support geological data interpretation and visualization.

Qualifications

5–10 years of experience in software development.
Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Runtime and ESRI services.
Ability to translate scientific domain requirements into robust software solutions.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with geophysicists, data scientists, and software engineers to translate requirements into software solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications for geophysical/data analysis and visualization.
Present architectural designs to the architecture review board and plan implementation roadmaps.
Implement and optimize computation algorithms and develop cloud/on-prem solutions.
Lead testing, code reviews, security hardening, and CI processes.
