Job summary

Bunge Iberica SA in Warsaw is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead geospatial data pipelines and analytics initiatives. You will design scalable pipelines, APIs, and processing workflows to enable data-driven decision making across our enterprise.

The role requires strong Python/SQL skills, PostgreSQL/PostGIS expertise, and hands-on experience with large geospatial datasets in cloud environments (GCP preferred). Collaboration across teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with PostgreSQL/PostGIS experience.
• Hands-on experience with large geospatial datasets and processing.
• Knowledge of cloud compute services (GCP preferred) such as BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, GCS.
• Experience with code versioning (Azure DevOps or GitHub).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy and support geospatial data pipelines in cloud and open-source environments.
• Implement scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation and delivery of geospatial data.
• Develop APIs for geospatial access and processing.
• Coordinate with data engineers and product owners to optimize pipelines and costs.
• Provide incident response and troubleshooting for production data pipelines.
