Job summary

Adecco Portugal is seeking an AI Engineer (GenAI & Modernization) for a remote Poland-based role. You will design and develop GenAI solutions to accelerate application modernization and transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software/AI, 5+ years in AI/GenAI, and experience delivering enterprise-scale AI applications; you will work on LLM architectures, RAG, and governance, collaborating with architects and developers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of total professional experience in software engineering, solution architecture, AI/ML, or related technology domains.
• 5+ years of relevant experience designing and implementing AI/ML or Generative AI solutions.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale AI applications from concept through production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GenAI modernization accelerators for application transformation initiatives.
• Define and develop LLM architectures and advanced prompt engineering strategies.
• Build Agentic AI solutions to automate complex business and technical workflows.
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using enterprise knowledge sources and vector databases.
• Develop AI-powered capabilities for code analysis and automation, business rule extraction, and automated test generation frameworks.
• Establish AI governance standards and best practices for responsible AI adoption; manage ML lifecycle including deployment and monitoring.
