Job summary

EY Global Delivery Services is seeking a Senior Google Cloud Data Engineer to help build data platforms using GCP and BigQuery. The role involves turning complex data into robust, scalable solutions and collaborating with global teams, with a mix of in-office and remote work.

You will work on state-of-the-art data engines, data warehousing concepts, and modern data pipelines, applying Agile practices and DevOps principles to deliver value for clients worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Data Engineering
• 2 years of experience in Big Data using Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Proficient in SQL and/or Python
• Background in data warehousing, data pipelines, distributed data processing, software engineering components and data modeling concepts
• Analytical problem-solving skills in a big data environment
• Experience with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data
• Strong experience in design techniques of relational databases and non-relational storage
• Knowledge of Data Marts, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Data Mesh
• Very good English (verbal and written)
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps/CI-CD principles
