Mimica is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join the Mapper Team, focusing on data-visualisation and AI-driven workflow insights. You will own projects end-to-end, from design to deployment, in a remote-first, globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong React and front-end architecture knowledge.
• Experience with data-intensive applications and performance optimization.
• Backend experience.
• High engineering standards and well-documented code.
• Fluent in English and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop data-visualisation features and interfaces for large data properties with scalability in mind.
• Build real-time frontend services enabling multiple users to edit graph data and retrain AI models.
• Own projects end-to-end within small teams, collaborating with tech leads and product managers.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and document implementations for future improvements.
• Participate in team rituals and RFCs to improve processes and help peers grow.
• Support hiring and onboarding of new team members.
