Job summary

SoftServe is seeking a Full-stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications for a large European public institution. You will work across the full tech stack, building user-facing features, scalable backend services, secure APIs, and cloud-based solutions that ensure performance, reliability, and security.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree with 5–12 years IT experience.
• Proficient with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Hibernate.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and web services.
• Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL and Oracle.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Cloud deployment, containerization, and CI/CD practices.
• English language proficiency at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications across full stack.
• Build scalable backend services and secure APIs.
• Design and optimize relational databases for performance.
• Apply security and data protection best practices.
• Troubleshoot, test, and improve existing applications.
• Deploy and manage cloud-based apps with CI/CD pipelines.
