Job summary

SoftServe is seeking a Senior Full-stack Engineer to develop and maintain enterprise-grade web applications for a large European public institution. You will work across frontend, backend, databases, and cloud environments to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing digital solutions.

You will participate in architecture decisions, ensure software quality, and contribute to the evolution of critical business systems while collaborating with international teams and maintaining strong

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 10-15 years of IT experience or Bachelor's degree with 12-17 years of experience.
• Expert-level experience with Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Hibernate).
• Proven design and maintenance of RESTful APIs and web services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications across frontend and backend.
• Implement core business functionality using Java and modern frameworks.
• Develop and secure RESTful APIs and web services for system integration.
• Apply security and data management best practices including authentication and logging.
• Analyze performance, troubleshoot, and drive improvements.
• Perform unit/integration tests and ensure code quality.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain apps in cloud environments using CI/CD and containers, with documentation.
