Job summary

Awin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own features end-to-end for Publisher Web, spanning Angular UI, Java backend services, and AWS infrastructure. You will work in an agile team, collaborating with Product and UX to shape solutions and drive value with AI-assisted tooling.

The role emphasizes mentoring, code quality, and cross-team collaboration within the Publisher Tribe, offering a hybrid working model and a strong focus on performance and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong Java/Spring Boot experience.
• Hands-on AWS and IaC experience.
• Experience with AI-enabled development tools is a plus.
• Excellent English communication across locations.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve publisher web applications in Angular on a micro-frontend architecture.
• Design clear APIs for web and mobile clients.
• Build, maintain and operate Java backend services.
• Own AWS infrastructure with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Migrate legacy functionality to the new platform.
• Mentor engineers and share knowledge across teams.
• Ensure quality through code reviews, testing, security and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
