EPAM Systems in Poland is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable applications using Java-based backend with Spring Boot and modern frontend frameworks. The role emphasizes REST APIs, event-driven patterns, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot for enterprise backend.
• Solid knowledge of Spring Security for authentication, authorization, and secure design.
• Proven experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Proficiency with SQL databases and data modeling.
• Experience writing reliable tests using JUnit or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in Angular or React and modern frontend patterns.
• English proficiency at B2+ level.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java back-end and modern front-end frameworks.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven services to support complex requirements.
• Participate in full SDLC from analysis to deployment, testing and rollout.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, UX, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and promote code quality, security, and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure standards.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure reliability.
• Work with messaging patterns and distributed architectures.
• Identify opportunities for tech improvement and evolve the stack.
