Job summary

ABC Fitness is hiring for a frontend engineer to work on XLerate web experiences using React. You’ll collaborate with a focused customer team to build impactful solutions and own complex UI features end-to-end in a data‑driven, Agile environment.

You will join the CRM Ops engineering squad that connects member data to CRM workflows, shaping the next generation of ABC Fitness' CRM product and day-to-day experiences for studios and entrepreneurs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field exp. preferred.
• 4+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript, with TypeScript in production codebases.
• 4+ years front-end experience with React and modern web apps.
• Strong React design principles, component-driven UI, state management.
• Experience owning complex features end-to-end from design to release.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests and QA practices.
• Experience integrating front ends with REST APIs and debugging.
• Mentoring engineers and raising standards via code reviews.
• Performance and accessibility focus in production apps.
• Experience with Agile delivery and DevOps practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication; version control knowledge.
• Comfort with learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and document XLerate web experiences using React.
• Collaborate with customer team to listen, understand needs, deliver solutions.
• Own complex UI features end-to-end from design through release.
• Drive front-end technical decisions and slice large work into deliverables.
• Collaborate with developers and QA to release new features.
• Maintain code quality, organize, and mentor Mid engineers.
• Participate in data-driven decisions and retrospectives for improvement.
• Work with designers, product managers and testers to create human experiences.
• Apply Agile, Lean, DevOps and CI/CD practices.
