Job summary

ABC Fitness is seeking an experienced Front-end Engineer to build the XLerate CRM experiences using React and collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams. You will own complex UI features end-to-end, ensuring performance and accessibility while contributing to data-driven enhancements.

You'll work closely with architecture and QA to ship features in a fast-paced Agile environment, leveraging modern tooling and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field is preferred.
• 4+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript in production code.
• 4+ years of front-end experience using React for web apps.
• Strong understanding of React design principles, component-driven UI and state management.
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end features with ownership.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests and with CI/CD workflows.
• Experience integrating front ends with REST APIs and debugging across the stack.
• Mentoring engineers and raising code quality through reviews.
• Awareness of performance and accessibility best practices in production apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and document front-end software for XLerate web experiences using React.
• Collaborate with a customer team to understand needs and deliver impactful solutions.
• Own complex UI features end-to-end from design to release and production support.
• Drive front-end technical decisions and break work into deliverable slices.
• Work with developers and QA to design, test, and release new features.
• Mentor mid-level engineers through code reviews and pairing.
• Engage in data-driven decision making and continuous improvement retrospectives.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and testers to create human-centered experiences.
• Participate in Agile & Lean processes with DevOps and CI/CD.
