Woodward, Inc. is seeking a talented FPGA Software Engineer to design and test FPGA modules for next generation engine controllers and avionics devices.

You will develop FPGA-based software solutions, verify VHDL IP cores, and collaborate with System, HW/SW Development and Platform Engineers in international teams. Required: 4+ years in electronics/software, VHDL/Verilog experience, and proficiency with Xilinx Vivado and ModelSim.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in electronics, software development or related.
• 4+ years of experience in related area.
• Experience in VHDL and/or Verilog design for FPGAs with simulation and timing analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and derive suitable solutions.
• Design and debug firmware and device communication with components.

About The Role:Aerospace Electronics department designs and produces an extensive range of electronic controllers for aerospace and defense in actuators control domain.For our Aerospace Electronics team we are looking for a FPGA Software Engineer.
