The role emphasizes collaboration in international projects, DO-254/DO-178/ISO-26262 awareness, and strong communication in English and Polish. Hybrid work and relocation support are available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in electronics or related field.
• 4+ years of electronics engineering experience, aerospace a plus.
• Experience with complex analog/digital circuit design and quality standards (DO-254/DO-178/ISO-26262).

Responsibilities

• Gather and interpret customer technical requirements and support project development.
• Lead cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in technical meetings, prepare presentations on product functionality and integration.
• Develop and execute functional and integration tests for product qualification.
• Analyze customer defects, perform RCA, and coordinate corrective actions.

About The Role:Aerospace Electronics department designs and produces an extensive range of electronic controllers for aerospace and defense in actuators control domain.We are seeking a skilled and passionate Application Engineer to support project development and flawless manufacturing transition for aerospace products.You will work on design and sustainability of electronic devices able to drive medium and high-power electric motors and solenoids (control logic, inverter, power stage etc.) in aerospace applications.What You Will Do:Collecting and interpreting technical requirements of customers (OEMs, aircraft manufacturers, system integrators).Resolve Technical Challenges: Guides cross functional teams in diagnosing and addressing complex technical issues using innovative and analytical approaches.Participation in technical meetings with customers, preparing technical presentations and answering questions about product functionality and integration.Developing and performing functional and integration tests, supporting product qualification.Analysis of defects reported by customers, Root Cause Analysis (RCA),Verification of software and hardware errors, coordination of corrective actions.What You Will Need:Bachelor or Master of Science degree in electronics or related.4+ years of experience in electronics engineering or related (Aerospace background is an advantage)Proven experience in complex analog and digital circuits design.In depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, standards, and best practicesStrong analytical capabilities for in depth evaluation and data driven decision making.Knowledge of quality standards and the ability to apply complex groupings of standards into projects (experience with DO-254, DO-178 and/or ISO-26262 is appreciated).Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to operate in the international project team.Good English and Polish languages skills; able to explain technical topics.What You Will Gain:Salary range from 12 500 to 20 000 PLN gross – depending on experienceAdvancement opportunities in international teamA total rewards package, that includes: private health insurance, life & accidental insuranceMultisport packageMeal VouchersCompany performance bonus programWork-life balance, semi-flexible working timePPK: Woodward offers payment to your PPK account up to 4% of your compensation depending on seniorityHybrid work modelRelocation & Educational support#LI-AB1
