Job summary

Google LLC seeks a senior Fire Safety Engineering Lead to direct regional governance, audit, and validation of fire and life safety programs across the EMEA portfolio. You will act as the regional technical authority within EHS, partnering with Real Estate to evaluate risks and establish scalable safety frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Engineering, Fire Risk Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fire Risk Assessment Certification (Level 4 Diploma or equivalent).
• 10 years of experience in fire engineering, technical auditing, and life safety governance across high‑rise, laboratory, or multi‑site portfolios.
• Experience in auditing buildings.

Responsibilities

• Direct regional governance, audit, and validation of fire and life safety programs across the EMEA portfolio.
• Act as regional technical authority within the EHS organization, partnering with Real Estate to evaluate risks and set safety frameworks.
• Audit, validate, and provide oversight of external consultancies and design packages across complex facilities.
