Job summary

COINPAYMENTS is hiring a Senior SMM Manager to own our social presence on LinkedIn, X and Instagram—from strategy to content, community management and reporting. This hands-on role requires building processes, shipping content, and guiding freelancers as channels scale.

You will develop monthly content calendars aligned with launches and events, manage executive profiles, and monitor performance to drive merchant and partner engagement in a fintech, crypto-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in social media management, with at least 1.5 years in B2B, fintech, payments, crypto or SaaS.
• Proven results growing LinkedIn company pages and executive profiles; portfolio with numbers.
• Hands-on experience running X and Instagram for a brand, including community management and crisis handling.
• Strong copywriting in English (C1+): clear, concise, able to explain complex products to business audiences.
• Data-driven: comfortable with native analytics, UTMs, social listening and building reports.
• Working knowledge of crypto, stablecoins and digital payments; understands why hype language is a risk.
• Awareness of crypto-advertising restrictions and platform policies (LinkedIn, Meta, X).
• Experience with scheduling and listening tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, Brandwatch) and design tools (Canva, Figma basics, CapCut or similar).
• Self-starter who can own channels with minimal supervision and work across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own the social strategy for LinkedIn, X and Instagram and define roles, audiences, content pillars and cadence.
• Build and run a monthly content calendar aligned with product launches, partnerships and events.
• Manage company pages and coordinate executive profiles for leadership thought leadership.
• Develop engagement strategies to grow brand awareness and loyalty among merchants and partners.
• Write and ship posts, threads and short-form videos in an enterprise voice.
• Brief designers and editors; produce visuals when speed matters and repurpose content from other assets.
• Monitor comments, DMs and route inquiries within SLAs; manage reputation and crisis response drafts.
• Track platform changes and run structured experiments to scale what works.
• Define KPIs, set up tracking, and deliver monthly performance reports.
