Job summary

State Street Corp. seeks a seasoned Financial Reporting SME in Kraków to prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial statements for investment funds.

You will oversee clients, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and act as the central resource on accounting standards and changes, driving improvements and staff development. The role requires deep knowledge of IFRS, Lux GAAP, UK SORP, NL GAAP, 5–8 years in relevant environments, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in financial reporting or audits.
• Knowledge of IFRS, Lux GAAP, UK SORP, NL GAAP.
• Experience with coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent English; Dutch is an asset.
• Hybrid work model: 3 days in office per week.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of assigned clients to KPI targets.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders on review of work.
• Serve as SME on accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with Fund Accounting, CSO, Taxes to improve processes.
• Identify trainings needs and support staff development.
• Deliver training materials and sessions to staff.
• Analyze recurring issues and drive action plans to improve quality.
• Adopt new tools and support migration initiatives.
• Suggest and implement procedural changes to boost performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects.
