State Street in Poland seeks an entry-level Financial Reporting Associate to help prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end statements for investment funds. You will draft financial statements from trial balances and support the reporting process under supervision.

The role involves liaising with Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency and Custody teams, and keeping up-to-date with accounting standards. Fluent English and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or similar is preferred.
• Knowledge of Financial Reporting is a plus.
• General knowledge of the financial services industry is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare first drafts of annual and interim financial statements from trial balance.
• Prepare reporting templates for annual and interim cycles.
• Liaise with other departments to resolve issues identified in the trial balance.
• Prepare audit files and reconciliations per SOPs.
• Process changes to financial statements in line with standards and regulations.
• Meet tight client reporting deadlines.
• Maintain relationships with internal teams such as Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency.
• Stay updated on current accounting standard changes.
• Comply with accounting policies and internal controls.
