Job summary

Labrynth is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers on regulated, operational workflows and turn field work into a production product. You will map real workflows, implement first useful slices, verify them, and help decide what becomes reusable platform components.

You will operate near customers and code across frontend, backend, data, and integrations, delivering verifiable demos and robust, auditable solutions.

Qualifications

• You have shipped production software and can explain changes for users.
• You can operate in messy customer settings and identify true problems.

Responsibilities

• Run customer discovery, shadow workflows, and document constraints.
• Implement thin product slices in live code across frontend, backend, data, and integrations.
• Write tests, inspect logs, and document what is proven or uncertain for demos.
• Explain tradeoffs and next steps to non-technical customers.
• Identify reusable patterns and feed them into product and engineering.
• Carry ambiguous work end to end: discovery, build, demo, rollout, and follow-up.
