Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to drive security, release reliability, and resilience for banking applications. You will work hands-on with development teams to remediate vulnerabilities, modernize legacy systems, and raise the bar on test automation and observability.

The role blends senior software engineering, DevOps, SRE, and application security. About 70% of your time is coding and configuring, with direct collaboration to client stakeholders to implement practical

Qualifications

The role demands extensive hands-on software engineering with focus on production applications.
Active coding, debugging, and production code reviews are required.
Expertise in Java and JVM-based development is essential; TypeScript skills are valued for Node.js projects.

Responsibilities

Lead targeted engagements addressing security, testing, release, resilience, and legacy tech.
Assess code, dependencies, runtime, test coverage, CI/CD, observability and risks.
Write, debug, review, and enhance production-quality code and configurations.
Define modernization plans with clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
Develop unit and integration tests and drive automation in CI/CD.
