Bachelor-level degree in accounting, commerce, economics or finance.
Experience or understanding of general accounting processes and SOX controls.
Fluent German language skills required (Advanced-C1).

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for all activities related to General Accounting (R2R).
Review day-to-day activities: reconciliations, journal entries, reports, audit requests, analysis, and other requests.
Month End Close Activities.
Fixed Assets capitalization and maintenance.
Intercompany Accounting.
Bank and Investment Reconciliations.
General Ledger Reconciliations.
Fixed Assets Reconciliations (FA Clearing & SL-GL).
Identify balancing items and clearance.
Escheat Reconciliations.
Corporate Reporting.
Internal and External Audit.
SOX Compliance.
