Job summary

EMnify GmbH is seeking a hands-on UICC/eUICC/eSIM specialist to own the engineering, interoperability, and certification readiness of our Consumer eSIM (SGP.22) and IoT eUICC (SGP.32) products. The role spans profile design, technical specification, validation, and production readiness.

You will work across SIM technology, devices, and mobile networks, ensuring high quality and interoperability before rollout while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in SIM/eSIM/eUICC engineering, validation, or related technical domain.
• Proven experience with GSMA standards, especially SGP.22 and SGP.32.
• Solid understanding of UICC/eUICC architecture, profile lifecycle, and OTA/provisioning processes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end engineering and validation of SGP.22 and SGP.32 eSIM products, including profile design reviews and translating requirements into specs.
• Define and execute certification/validation strategies using GSMA artefacts (SAIP, BAP), including lab and real-world testing.
• Investigate and resolve cross-domain issues (SIM, device, network) with root-cause analysis and coordination of fixes.
• Serve as technical contact for remote provisioning platforms and SIM/eUICC vendors, defining acceptance criteria and supporting production rollout decisions.
• Produce clear technical documentation to enable Product, Support, and Customer-facing teams.
