Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking an Environment Manager to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of environments for Risk Management and GCO applications. Based in Wrocław, the role blends 2 days in the office with 3 days remote work, ensuring environments are ready to support development, testing and production activities.

You will partner with product owners, development, production support, and business stakeholders to enable seamless delivery and alignment with release schedules, governance, and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience managing large-scale enterprise environments.
• 5+ years in environment planning and lifecycle management.
• 5+ years supporting release and change management processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with system implementations or migrations.
• Experience with multiple SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
• Strong project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and manage environment-related activities.
• Define environment strategy for availability, utilization, and capacity planning.
• Align environment schedules with release and deployment timelines to ensure readiness.
• Partner with Service Delivery and Operations to ensure coordinated delivery and operational readiness.
• Establish and enforce governance standards including environment controls, access, and data integrity.
• Drive issue resolution related to environment conflicts or instability.
• Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to support teams.
• Ensure clear communication across business, development, QA, and operations teams.
• Identify and implement operational improvements to reduce cost and increase quality.
• Support Agile/SAFe planning and execution across multiple products.
• Track and communicate environment metrics and readiness status.
• Contribute to budget planning and resource strategy.
