Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Real-Time platform team. You will design, build, and optimize the application layer that processes observability data across distributed services using C++, Go, or Rust.

This role emphasizes scalable data pipelines and telemetry instrumentation. You will work in a hybrid setup in Poland, contribute to telemetry pipelines, GitOps workflows, and collaborate across squads to scale services, with English communication and strong analytical skills

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering in data-pipeline or market data systems.
• Experience with latency-sensitive applications and real-time data processing.
• Proficiency in at least one systems language (C++, Go, or Rust) and scripting (Python, Java, or TypeScript).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain application components that aggregate, correlate, and present observability data.
• Develop telemetry pipelines ingesting metrics, traces, and logs.
• Implement monitoring agents deployed across global sites to measure customer experience.
