Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a Senior Engineer to design, build, and improve the Real-Time platform's application layer. You will work on aggregating and presenting observability data from many services into end-to-end views, while deploying at scale across global sites.

Hybrid by design with Poland remote work and occasional international assignments. Required are 7+ years in software engineering, experience with latency-sensitive market data, and proficiency in C++, Go, or Rust plus

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering in data-pipeline or observability domains.
• Experience with latency-sensitive or market data systems.
• Proficiency in at least one systems language (C++, Go, or Rust) and scripting (Python/Java/TypeScript).
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry SDKs, collectors, and telemetry export.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain application components aggregating observability data into end-to-end views.
• Develop synthetic monitoring agents deployed globally to measure customer experience.
• Extend telemetry pipelines ingesting metrics, traces, and logs across distributed services.
• Implement GitOps/API-driven workflows for observability assets and deployments.
• Collaborate with squads to instrument applications across Dev, Test, Prod environments.
• Work in cloud-native, containerized Kubernetes environments at scale.
