Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a QA Engineer to own automated testing for our embedded devices, including cameras, access control, alarms, and sensors. You will help build and maintain the CI/CD pipelines, define test strategies, and lead cross-functional teams in developing robust automated test cases.

We value 5+ years in hardware/software testing, Python proficiency, and Linux expertise. Knowledge of Yocto, TeamCity, and GitHub Actions is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience testing hardware devices, embedded systems or software
• Experience building CI systems for embedded platforms
• Experience creating test strategy
• Experience designing automated test cases for hardware devices (e.g., HIL)
• Proficient in Python
• Linux user
• Knowledge of GitHub

Responsibilities

• Define and create automated test system architecture for embedded systems (Access Control, Cameras, Sensors, Alarms)
• Participate in selecting technologies for automated test system
• Build CI system with team and develop scripts
• Define and develop automated test cases, create test strategy
• Lead automated test case development in a cross-functional team
• Create test suites for smoke, performance, functional tests
• Set up test management and automated test result reporting
