Accenture's Industry X team in Kraków is seeking an experienced embedded security architect to own MCU firmware architecture and security features.

You'll work across RTOS and Linux-like environments, collaborating with clients and internal teams to refine solutions; you will apply rigorous testing and code reviews, contributing to the overall quality and security of our connected products.

Flexible work location combines remote, client sites, and Accenture offices to fit project needs.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of modern C++ for embedded firmware and MCU architectures.
• Deep embedded security concepts: key storage, certificates, secure communication and secure boot.
• Experience with RTOS and debugging tools (JTAG, logic analyzers).
• Experience with gtest and gmock for unit testing.
• Ability to contribute to architecture discussions and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own the MCU firmware architecture and security modules, including HSMs.
• Design and implement SecOC and Secure Boot in modern C++, with tests.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers through technical discussions.

THE WORK

• Own the architecture of MCU firmware, security components and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), while continuously developing your expertise in embedded security architecture.
• Design, implement and maintain complex security features, including SecOC and Secure Boot, using modern C++, with appropriate tests and documentation.
• Collaborate on architecture with internal teams and customers, using technical discussions as opportunities to exchange knowledge and refine solutions.
• Review and approve requirements, architecture and technical designs, applying your expertise across the development lifecycle.
• Review code, tests and documentation, contributing to continuous improvement of software quality and engineering practices.

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office - depending on specific project circumstances. HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Advanced knowledge of modern C++ for embedded firmware and driver development, together with experience working with MCU architectures.
• Advanced knowledge of embedded security concepts, including key storage, certificate handling, secure communication and secure boot.
• Understanding of RTOS and embedded operating system concepts, combined with experience using debugging tools such as JTAG, logic analyzers and protocol analyzers.
• Experience with gtest and gmock for C++ unit testing.
• Ability to contribute to technical architecture discussions and review requirements, architecture, design, code, tests and documentation.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Knowledge of TriCore, ARM and POSIX, as well as AUTOSAR and functional safety.
• Experience with MISRA, CERT or other static code analysis standards.
• Experience with Python and PyTest.
