Job summary

Accenture Poland is seeking a Senior Embedded C++ Low Level Engineer to design and implement complex drivers and integrate supplier drivers. You will review requirements, architecture and tests across embedded Linux/RTOS environments, with a focus on safety-critical, high-performance firmware.

The role requires 15+ years in embedded firmware, deep knowledge of buses (I2C, SPI, MDIO, CAN, LIN, Ethernet), and experience with multi-core development, gtest/gmock, AUTOSAR and MISRA/CERT standards.

THE WORK:

The Senior Embedded C++ Low Level Engineer is responsible for:

• Design and implement complex low-level drivers in modern C++ (version 11+), including tests and documentation.
• Integrate existing drivers from suppliers.
• Review and approve requirements, architecture, design, code, test and documentation.

The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely (most of the time), onsite at a client or in an Accenture office - depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Advanced knowledge of modern C++ for embedded firmware and drivers (15+ years of experience)
• Knowledge of low-level buses (I2C, SPI, MDIO, CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Understanding of RTOS and embedded OS concepts.
• Experience in multi-core development.
• Experience with gtest and gmock for C++ unit tests

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Knowledge of Tricore, ARM or POSIX environments.
• Experience with AUTOSAR‑based development.
• Familiarity with MISRA, CERT or similar static analysis standards.
• Experience with Python and PyTest.
• Understanding of safety and security standards relevant to embedded systems.
