MailerLite, a fast-growing email marketing service, seeks an experienced Senior Email Marketing Manager to elevate our email strategy within the SEO & Content Team. You will own campaigns, automations, and lead magnets, growing our list while refining content for engagement and growth.

You’ll collaborate with writers, monitor performance with KPIs, and stay ahead of industry trends to shape innovative email marketing that resonates across a global audience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing, ideally in a SaaS company where email was a core growth channel.
• A strong writing portfolio: you can show newsletters or campaigns you've personally written that performed well.
• Proven experience growing an email list organically, building segmentation, and creating lead magnets.
• A sharp editorial eye: you can review other people's content and make it meaningfully better.
• Genuine, ongoing curiosity about email marketing: you follow the space and test new approaches.
• Comfortable both writing hands-on and briefing others: you’ll personally cover every newsletter and campaign.
• Experience with MailerLite or other ESPs.
• 4h overlap with CET time zone.

Responsabilités

• Manage all email campaigns from creation and writing to launch, measurement and optimization.
• Build and nurture automations to turn prospects into customers and ensure existing automations are up to date.
• Own our lead magnets end to end: come up with new ones, write the copy or brief our writers, and keep existing ones accurate and up to date.
• Identify opportunities to grow our email list. Build forms, pop-ups and landing pages that turn visitors into subscribers.
• Keep our MailerLite accounts organized and up-to-date. Build out segmentation and interest groups, and tailor messaging to different audience segments and industries.
• Partner with our writers to brief and produce blog content; review and level up our email-marketing content.
• Go after original, underexplored angles on email marketing to earn citations and attention.
• Measure email marketing performance and define KPIs; analyze and implement improvements.
• Keep sending practices aligned with deliverability standards and industry best practices.
• Stay immersed in the email marketing world and turn insights into content and strategy.
• Coordinate with Email Lifecycle Manager so marketing and product/lifecycle email stay consistent: you own list growth, segmentation strategy and content.
