Job summary

MailerLite seeks a Technical Lead for the Audience Growth team. You will lead engineers, shape technical direction with product and design partners, and stay close to code to handle the hard parts yourself.

You will own our landing pages, signup forms, and integrations, ensuring fast, reliable, scalable experiences. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and marketing to deliver features end-to-end, leverage a remote-first culture, and mentor engineers to grow ownership.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building production web apps with PHP and Laravel.
• Strong modern JavaScript, Vue 3, interactive UI such as builders/editors.
• Experience leading engineers technically as a tech lead or senior with lead duties.
• Experience designing and maintaining REST APIs and working with third-party APIs.
• Good PostgreSQL skills and experience with background jobs/queues.
• Product mindset: engage in customer research, challenge requirements, measure results.
• Excellent written and spoken English; comfortable with async remote work.
• Based in the EMEA region.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and shape technical direction with product and design partners.
• Own landing page and website builders, signup forms, subscriber imports, and flows.
• Build and maintain integrations bringing subscribers from other platforms.
• Ensure forms, imports, and opt-in flows are fast and resistant to abuse.
• Own team areas end-to-end in production: quality, performance, monitoring, fixes.
• Set coding standards through reviews, pairing, and mentoring.
• Grow engineers toward greater ownership.
