Job summary

ICEYE Warsaw is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to own the full design lifecycle of flight hardware for AOCS systems, focusing on power electronics, precision analog circuits, and high-voltage design. You will collaborate across firmware, FPGA, software, mechanical, and thermal teams while mentoring junior engineers to elevate engineering standards.

You will contribute to reliable and high-performance control electronics enabling ICEYE’s space missions and expanding constellation

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 5+ years of experience in high-voltage electronics
• Proven expertise in high-voltage electronics design, topologies and noise reduction
• Proficiency in analog circuit design for precision measurement and sensor interfaces
• Experience with circuit simulation and PCB design tools (LTSpice, Altium)
• Understanding of high-speed signal design and EMI/EMC for HV switching environments
• Experience designing embedded control hardware and protection circuits
• Experience with RS485/UART isolation and impedance matching
• Ability to define hardware interfaces with firmware and telemetry needs
• Excellent communication skills across multidisciplinary teams
• Hands-on experience with environmental testing and harsh conditions (Nice to have)
• Programming skills (C, Python) for firmware/hardware characterization (Nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Own the full design lifecycle of flight hardware from schematics to on-orbit operations
• Develop deep understanding of the complete AOCS system and its subsystems
• Lead the design of power electronics and control electronics for AOCS hardware
• Design and optimize power electronics for efficiency and thermal management
• Develop precision analog and data acquisition circuits for power measurement
• Troubleshoot issues across design, prototyping, manufacturing, field operations, and anomalies
• Collaborate with firmware, FPGA, software, mechanical and thermal teams for integration
• Mentor junior engineers to improve design and test practices
