Job summary

ICEYE is seeking an Engineering Manager, Electronics to lead the payload electronics of a new optical satellite platform. You will own electronics design end-to-end, from concept through production and in-orbit operation, acting as the main electronics authority for the satellite.

You will build and manage a small electronics team, drive architecture decisions, and ensure reliable, high-performance boards across high-speed, power, and harness domains.

Qualifications

• Expert, hands-on electronics design from schematics to production and operations.
• Ability to derive electronics requirements from a satellite system and own the payload architecture.
• People-oriented leadership with experience growing small teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small electronics team, handling tasking, hiring and day-to-day people management while staying hands-on.
• Be the technical leader for the electronics architecture of the optical satellite, from schematics through layout and bring-up to production.
• Derive system needs into electronics design, drive R&D on new concepts and uphold high design standards.
• Investigate on-ground and on-orbit anomalies.
• Drive a fast, iterative design process and manage supplier relationships.
• Mentor junior team members.
