Job summary

Recrucial is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our hybrid infrastructure (on‑prem + cloud). This fully remote role targets someone who loves building scalable, reliable platforms and driving best practices in automation, observability, and security.

You will work with a small, highly skilled team to design CI/CD workflows, optimize costs, and ensure robust operation across global data pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps/infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with on-prem / hybrid distributed systems.
• Strong Linux system administration.
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred).
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform.
• Automation tools such as Ansible.
• CI/CD pipeline design and ownership.
• Kubernetes setup and management.
• PostgreSQL at scale.
• Open-source observability tooling.
• Security best practices in hybrid environments.
• Independent, proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop a hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + cloud).
• Design scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions.
• Build and improve CI/CD workflows for hybrid environments.
• Optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, and reliability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system health.
• Work closely with engineers and product stakeholders.
• Maintain clear infrastructure documentation.
