Job summary

Stack AI is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure. You will own Kubernetes environments, drive automation with IaC, and lead CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, zero‑downtime deployments. Collaboration with engineering teams will shape architecture and accelerate delivery.

You will also implement monitoring, security, and observability best practices, while exploring new tools to continuously improve devops maturity in a fast‑paced startup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure engineering.
• Strong expertise with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Solid background in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Comfort with scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Experience with monitoring and observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient infrastructure.
• Lead Kubernetes operations: Manage deployment, scaling, and monitoring of containerized apps.
• Build automation: Drive Infrastructure as Code to standardize and improve environments.
• Streamline CI/CD: Architect and maintain pipelines for zero‑downtime deployments.
• Enable observability & security: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting; drive best practices.
• Collaborate across teams: Work with engineers to improve architecture and speed deployments.
• Experiment & improve: Explore new tools and refine DevOps practices.
