Recrucial is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our hybrid infrastructure (on‑prem + cloud). This fully remote role targets someone who loves building scalable, reliable platforms and driving best practices in automation, observability, and security.
You will work with a small, highly skilled team to design CI/CD workflows, optimize costs, and ensure robust operation across global data pipelines.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps/infrastructure roles.
- Hands-on experience with on-prem / hybrid distributed systems.
- Strong Linux system administration.
- Cloud experience (AWS preferred).
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform.
- Automation tools such as Ansible.
- CI/CD pipeline design and ownership.
- Kubernetes setup and management.
- PostgreSQL at scale.
- Open-source observability tooling.
- Security best practices in hybrid environments.
- Independent, proactive mindset.

Small, fully remote team (~20 people). Senior-heavy product & engineering group. English as a working language. Direct communication, low bureaucracy, high ownership. You'll work with people who value clarity, responsibility, and getting things done well.
The infrastructure is growing in traffic, complexity, and responsibility. This role exists to own and evolve a hybrid infrastructure, not just maintain it. We're looking for someone who can help shape how systems are built, scaled, and operated going forward.
A Senior DevOps Engineer who: Is comfortable owning infrastructure end-to-end Has real experience with on-prem or hybrid environments Enjoys building systems from scratch and improving them over time Thinks in trade-offs, not dogma Thrives in startup-style environments with real accountability.
