Job summary

You will lead automation, design IaC with Terraform, and guide engineering squads on best practices for containerized environments and cloud architectures. Excellent English required for global collaboration.

We are seeking a proactive Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client, an in-house technology consultancy of a global consulting firm, driving enterprise-scale infrastructure automation and deployment capabilities. In this role, you will take technical ownership of cloud infrastructure, design robust end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, and embed advanced security practices across scalable cloud-native systems.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Taking end-to-end ownership of building, configuring, and scaling development infrastructure and automated tooling.
• Designing, maintaining, and testing resilient CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
• Architecting Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to deliver repeatable and secure enterprise deployments.
• Embedding security best practices directly into pipeline workflows and container runtimes to safeguard systems against emerging threats.
• Analyzing system performance, bottlenecks, and telemetry to optimize reliability, high concurrency, and scalability.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering squads, mentoring peers, and driving solutions to complex infrastructure challenges.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven commercial experience as a Senior DevOps or Platform Engineer supporting distributed, enterprise-grade environments.
• Strong systems engineering background with an emphasis on container orchestration, Linux systems, and cloud architecture.
• Consultant mindset: ability to act as a subject matter expert, articulate the "why" behind technical choices, and guide engineering teams on automation best practices.
• High ownership, analytical troubleshooting skills, and the capacity to diagnose complex deployment issues under pressure.

Must-Haves:

• Expert-level proficiency in Terraform for automated infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture and cloud runtimes.
• Advanced scripting skills in Python and deep command of Linux administration.
• Solid background in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD automation tooling.
• Excellent English communication skills for daily international collaboration.
