Reppls (Techstars '24) is a product-driven infrastructure company building the backbone for large-scale, data-intensive systems. We operate hybrid infrastructure for real-time access to data from the open web, with a focus on resilience and observability.

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will own infrastructure end-to-end, design scalable solutions, and drive CI/CD in a startup-like, fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps/infrastructure roles.
• Experience with on-prem or hybrid distributed systems.
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred) with scaling and resiliency.
• Infrastructure as Code and automation experience.
• Security best practices in hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop a hybrid on-prem + cloud infrastructure.
• Design scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions.
• Build and improve CI/CD workflows for hybrid environments.
• Optimize for cost, performance, and reliability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system health.

Because accessing the open web reliably and at scale is still hard and most teams shouldn’t have to reinvent this infrastructure themselves. Our mission is to remove friction from web data access, so teams can focus on insights, products, and innovation instead of fighting infrastructure fires.

Who are we looking for?

A Senior DevOps Engineer who:

Is comfortable owning infrastructure end-to-end Has real experience with on-prem or hybrid environments Enjoys building systems from scratch and improving them over time Thinks in trade-offs, not dogma Thrives in startup-style environments with real accountability.

What professional skills are important to us?

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps / infrastructure roles
• Hands-on experience with on-prem / hybrid distributed systems
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred): scaling, resiliency, cost optimization
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform Automation tools such as Ansible CI/CD pipeline design and ownership
• Kubernetes setup and management
• PostgreSQL at scale Open-source observability tooling
• Solid understanding of security best practices in hybrid environments

Nice to have (not required):

• ClickHouse
• OpenTelemetry-based observability
• Open-source contributions or technical writing
