Job summary

Jit Team is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to drive cloud-native platform initiatives from Poznań. You will design CI/CD processes, improve infrastructure reliability, and strengthen security practices while partnering with development teams to deliver high-quality software.

You will work in a hybrid setup with occasional in-office days, collaborating in an international environment that uses English daily. Strong hands-on AWS/Azure and IaC skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or similar roles.
• Hands-on with AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Infra as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Linux administration, networking, and cloud security.
• Scripting in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Monitoring and logging experience.

Join a modern cloud transformation initiative focused on building, automating, and optimizing scalable cloud-native platforms. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing CI/CD processes, improving infrastructure reliability, enhancing security practices, and supporting development teams in delivering high-quality software efficiently.

Expected competencies and knowledge

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or similar roles
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, etc.)
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Good understanding of Linux administration, networking, and cloud security
• Proficiency with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions
• Nice to have:
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments
  • Knowledge of GitOps practices and tools (ArgoCD, Flux)
  • Familiarity with service mesh technologies
  • Experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or SplunkCloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes)
