Job summary

Stack AI is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes operations. You will drive automation, CI/CD, and observability to ensure secure, reliable deployments at scale.

This hands-on role emphasizes IaC, cloud proficiency, and collaborating with a fast-paced startup. Hybrid work flexibility is available, with remote options for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure engineering.
• Strong expertise with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and IaC.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Solid background in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Comfort with scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Experience with monitoring & observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills for a fast-paced startup.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance with focus on scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Lead Kubernetes operations: deployment, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Build automation via Infrastructure as Code to standardize environments.
• Streamline CI/CD pipelines to accelerate productivity and enable zero-downtime deployments.
• Enable observability & security: monitoring, logging, alerting, and compliance best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve architecture and accelerate deployments.
• Experiment with new tools and continuously refine DevOps practices.
