Job summary

Snatch UP Jobs in Kraków is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the infrastructure team and scale high-volume cloud systems. You will collaborate with engineering leadership on cloud architecture, automation, and production operations to improve reliability.

The role focuses on migrating from ECS Fargate to Kubernetes (EKS), building IaC with Terraform, and enhancing CI/CD with GitHub Actions, while ensuring observability and security across production environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps, Infrastructure, or Cloud Engineering experience.
• Advanced hands-on experience with AWS.
• Strong production experience with Kubernetes/EKS.
• Expert-level experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Docker/ECS and CI/CD pipelines.
• Scripting or programming experience with Python, Go, or TypeScript, plus Bash.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, observability, and production reliability.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the migration from ECS Fargate to Kubernetes (EKS).
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and OpenTofu.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Manage and optimize high-volume AWS infrastructure.
• Improve system reliability, observability, security, and scalability.
• Support data-intensive infrastructure and production environments.
