Job summary

SentinelOne is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer / Platform Engineer to build, scale, and optimize our core data and caching infrastructure across Kubernetes clusters and multi-cloud environments. You will enable cloud portability and ensure low-latency, high-throughput operations for our AI-native security platform.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience with self-hosted Kafka/Redis in Kubernetes, strong Kubernetes internals knowledge, and multi-cloud proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience operating distributed systems at scale.
• Hands-on with self-hosted Kafka and Redis in Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes internals and managing stateless/stateful workloads.
• Multi-cloud experience with at least one provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proficiency in IaC and GitOps using Terraform, ArgoCD, and CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions).
• Scripting or development skills in Python, Go, or Ruby.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and operation of mission-critical data services across Kubernetes and multi-cloud environments.
• Build automated, self-service infrastructure to enable application portability.
• Scale data infrastructure for petabytes of data with low latency and cost efficiency.
• Optimize multi-tenant Kafka clusters for resilience and cost reduction.
• Drive lifecycle automation using GitOps tools to reduce toil and pager burden.
• Define standards for observability, HA, backup, and DR in Kubernetes.
