Job summary

EPAM is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications leveraging Azure cloud technologies within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Please note that working from the office in Krakow or Wroclaw for 3 days per week is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Proficiency in Java 18+ and Spring Boot.
• Experience with RESTful API development and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and ORM with Hibernate/JPA.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience with Azure cloud platform.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Splunk).
• Testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, JBehave).
• Messaging/integration (Apache Kafka, REST).
• Security practices: OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security.
• English proficiency at B2+ level.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications meeting business requirements and specs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions.
• Utilize Azure services to build scalable applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for high performance and reliability.
